We’re moving along on the development on the second rivals box for Dash Arena. The box will come with two new teams, Kerries and Toys. Also, it’ll have 2 new Arenas, with working titles of P13 Azure Dome and Drone Testing Facility.

Kerries are a denial team, with both Blocker and Thrower having area of effect abilities. Toys, on the other hand, are queen piece based combo team. The other interesting thing about Toys is that they don’t have the usual composition of figure types, they have one Enforcer and two untyped drones.

In KvT box you’ll finally see, and use, TAAT markers for something other than tracking score. 😛

Kerries Arena, P13 Azure Dome, is the slowest arena to date. With scoring lines not going through the center of the board and with no easy way to shoot the disk into the scoring gate.

Toys Arena, Drone Testing Facility, on the other hand, is the fastest arena to date! It adds a new type of direction arrow, the one that allows us to have thin walls separating spaces in the arena. You can use the ramps in the center to jump to the other side. Keep in mind, you’ll jump over the disk, so you won’t be able to pick it up that way. Because of the new walls, there are two lines that you can use to score, the standard eight line and there’s another one. We’ll leave finding it as an exercise to the reader. About the new arrows, whenever you bounce through the dashed direction arrow, you’re not counted to have passed through the spaces that arrow passes through.
